Timeline of Legal Excellence
1969 - 1974
- 1969 John G. Hall joins Albert C. Fach and John L.F. Sipp as a partner in the practice of law and the Law Firm Fach & Sipp becomes known as Fach, Sipp & Hall.
- 1972 Albert C. Fach, who was the former district attorney of Richmond County, passes away in 1972 after practicing law for over 50 years. Subsequently, Jack Sipp is made Chairman of Staten Island Savings Bank. The Firm moves from 15 Beach Street, Stapleton to 57 Beach Street, Stapleton.
- 1974 John G. Hall becomes President of the Richmond County Bar Association.
1975 - 2000
- 1992 Thomas J. Hall is made partner and the Firm becomes, The Law Firm of Hall & Hall, LLP.
- 1997 John G. Hall becomes Chair of the Real Property Section of the New York State Bar Association.
- 1999 Charles J. D’Arrigo, former Surrogate of Richmond County, becomes Of Counsel to the Firm.
2000 - 2015
- 2000 Julia Hall Perednia is made partner and the Firm expands its presence to Monmouth County, New Jersey.
- 2003 Lainie R. Fastman becomes a partner at the Firm.
- 2006 John G. Hall receives the Professionalism award from the Real Property Section of the New York State Bar Association.
- 2013 Thomas J. Hall becomes President of the Richmond County Bar Association.
2015 - Present
- 2018 Thomas J. Hall becomes Chair of the Real Property Section of the New York State Bar Association. The Firm continues as The Law Firm of Hall & Hall LLP upon the passing of John G. Hall.
- 2019 After almost 50 years at 57 Beach Street, Stapleton, the Staten Island office of the Firm relocates to its present location at 2555 Richmond Avenue.
- 2020 After 34 years of practicing law with the Firm, Lainie R. Fastman retires from the practice of law.
- 2021 Thomas J. Hall receives the Louis R. Miller Business Leadership Award.
- 2024 The Law Firm of Hall & Hall LLP is given the Richmond County Bar Association Legacy Award for its impact on the Staten Island Community. The first time the Richmond County Bar Association has honored a Law Firm for its impact on the Staten Island Community.

John G Hall, Esq. in Memoriam
(1938-2018)
John G. Hall, Esq. was senior partner of the Law Firm of Hall & Hall, LLP and practiced law for 53 years. He took great joy in representing a wide range of clients from major banking institutions and large organizations to families, individuals and small businesses.
John was particularly regarded as an expert in real estate law and banking law and was frequently retained as an expert witness in difficult real estate cases. He was very active in the Richmond County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association Real Property Law Section and was an honored recipient of the Professionalism Award from the New York State Bar Association.
